To our brothers and sisters in Europe, Charlie articulates the deep seated rage Canadians feel towards the Trump regime. I hope you get the sense that it is better to have Canadians on your side.

Trump is toxic and it will take a lot of work for all Americans to remove the toxicity from their society. Both democrats and republicans are deeply engaged in the disfunction we see. For others, it is time to move on.

After growing up in LA, I moved to Ottawa in 69 to go to Carleton, and the following year,to my native Saskatchewan. In the summer of 71, I decided to hitchhike from Saskatoon to visit my friends in Ottawa. I had a profound sense that this was a good country full of decent people

Thank you for this great interview! As a dual-national (Canadian & Italian) living in Italy, I can't wait for Canada and Europe to come closer and recognize what they stand to gain by doing this. I mean not just from an economic perspective, but from that of a heightened and mutually-reinforcing awareness of shared non-negotiable values, which Canadians are standing up for more and more vis à vis an authoritarian Trump, while some European governments and a weak European Commission try to appease him despite the fact that most Europeans feel the way Canadians do towards him and other bullies on the world stage.

Great interview. I love what Charlie is doing and hope something comes out of it. Something more than feeling good about hating on Donald Trump. Something that gives enough Canadians hope that there is a way out and to embrace and channel that hope into concrete actions. One thing I totally disagree with Charlie about, and we are both male and within a few years the same age, is hockey goons. I can't stand them and haven't watched the NHL in years because of them. I watch hockey sometimes, just not the NHL...or Don Cherry.

Incredible, Charlie! You've had one of the finest educations possible, gaining invaluable experience on the road from an early age, and twenty years in government. Now you're back on the road—bravo! Thank you from the East Coast CB ✌️❤️
